This company is the worst. They take your $ and do nothing! We had negotiated a deal with one of our creditors and they made one of the three required payments and than did nothing more. The deal was forfeited and we lost our money paid to the creditor when Bayview fell thru with not making another payment to them.we are now out the money that was paid to creditor and owe them more money then before the payment was made.
When you call to talk to them they say they are working on negotiations with our creditors and are waiting for counter offers.
when I talk to my creditors they tell me that they have received no offers from Bayview. One creditor had contacted Bayview 17 times and never got a returned call from them. We’ve been giving them $1,200.00 a month for a year now and they have done nothing for us except for the one negotiation they made and didn’t follow thru with.We have talked to our creditors and could negotiate a deal with them on our own but Bayview has our $12,000.00

I am not sure why Lynnette S had such a bad experience with Bay View Law Group. I worked with their Expert Debt affiliate to get signed up. I have no complaints and my husband and I have been getting excellent results on our settlements. There are downsides to doing the debt settlement program though….our credit rating did go down, but now that the debts are getting settled, our credit rating is improving. The creditor phone calls are easily the worst part of this whole process, but the firm provided us with a phone device that helped with the creditors calling us. The pros and the cons of the program were explained to us in detail and we are extremely thankful that Bay View Law Group.

Bay View Law Group had been very good to me. I was about $45,000 in debt from credit cards and medical bills. After I had built up money in my trust account, they settled my Discover Card for 27 cents on the dollar (a $12,500 debt settled for under $3,400!) I have about 2 more years in the program and can not wait to see how much more I can save.
The only advice I can give to people looking to get help with their debt is to follow the program religiously. They tell you to not pay your credit card bills, and to not talk to your creditors (as I did hire the law group to deal with those people). They tell you that the sooner you can get money into your trust, the sooner they can settle with the creditors. They also ask that if you do get any correspondents or legal documents from your creditors that you send them in as soon as possible, so that they can deal with them (which is why they were hired in the first place).
This is an amazing program, the only way it can fail is if you do not commit to the program.

Bayview Law is a way to work with Debt Settlement however they don’t prepare you for the fact that you are suppose to be in the program for approximately 3 years and in that time creditors can sue you and get wage garnishments against you which doesn’t help in the process. We had to call the firm to force a fast settlement to get this done and in the end we had to do some of the work ourselves. Once the Debt Settlement is complete about 6 months your credit improves. However, you have to have the money ready for them to do the settlement. They don’t tell you that the first 6 months payments sit in a trust to pay them not your creditors.

I am a current customer, with deductions each month. I need to know how I can check my account status on line. Deductions being made, I know nothing except payments being made. Please contact me as soon as possible. Do not even know my account number.

omg, I am going through the same thing, they told me a small fee would go to them monthly and the rest would go into a trust. Now i’m finding out they pay themselves first. They never call me back and I’m basicly representing myself, I’m very upset
