If you actually review First Choice Debt Relief’s bbb rating they have only 1 complaint in the last 36 months and they did respond to it accordingly and resolved the issue with the consumer and the bbb. I think if you are going to join a debt settlement company and are going to base your decision on what the bbb has to say don’t look at the grade as much as the actual complaints because it seems the bbb doesn’t believe in the product as a whole. Look more on whether or not these are a part of TASC, USOBA, and if they properly disclosed all the aspects and risks of the program.
Just my opinion.

My husband called them after seeing their advertisement in the local Penny Saver. He was ready to fax them our credit card statements and I wanted more information them. They gave us an address in Orange California located next to the medical center where I work so I told my husband I would drop the statements off on my to work. When I opened the door looked in and closed it. I had to take a deep breath and take another look at the sign on the door, FIRST CHOICE DEBT RELIEF, inside were three maybe four cheap broken down desks and one of those all- in- one- printer- fax- copier-printers and no one was there. They say they have 55 employees on your BBB and 1 complaint probably cause they only found one fool don’t listen its all BS .

BBB processed a total of 1 complaint about American Debt Relief Services in the last 36 months.
The complaint was regarding Service Issues and was resolved.

Payed off $20000 of credit card debt for less than $8500. Very professional, very caring company. Outlined ALL benefits AND detriments to program before they took a dollar. Thank you, First Choice!

I went through a tough time in my life that forced me to fall behind. I contacted a bunch of companies to get quotes. As soon as I spoke with First Choice Debt Relief I realized they really cared and weren’t rushing me to enroll like the other companies were. I’m almost done with my plan and looks like I’ll have this all paid off shortly. Thank you!!

I have used them for about a year did settle a few of my accounts. Found out later that they don’t always submit offers to you if they feel it’s not “reasonable” waiting it out to settle more agressive accounts, see I had 3 cc with totals over 22000.00 each with several small ones 9000.00-13000.00 of course the bigger accounts they tell you they can settle for 30% sounds good right? well remember the savings of the 70% first choice takes a fee of %35% of that savings so what are you actually saving..not alot…take my advice do it on our own. I’m having just as good of luck now dealing with these creditors and not having to pay fees for something I found out I can do on my own. They also wanted to charge me fees on accounts that I settled on my own, read the fine print on the contract says they can do this…and 3 months after you drop them..take my advice don’t use any of these companies wait it out settle on your own.
