Housing and Credit Counseling, Inc. (HCCI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to counseling and educating people to achieve their personal housing and financial goals. HCCI began as a grass-roots tenant’s rights organization in 1972 and has grown into a multi-service organization with three offices throughout Northeastern Kansas – Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan.
HCCI’s core programs include Financial Literacy and Credit Counseling, Homebuyer Counseling and Tenant and Landlord Counseling. One-on-one counseling is available by phone, in-person, or online.
HCCI is a member of the United Ways of Greater Topeka, Douglas County, Riley County and the Flint Hills, and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, and is fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation. HCCI is certified by HUD as a Comprehensive Housing Counseling Agency.

This company helped me gain control of my debt: This company is an honest agency who helped me dispose my credit card debt. I had no will power on my own and after 3 1/2 years, I have one more payment due. It does have an impact on your credit……..they ALL do, but they don’t charge extra fees to make a profit. I was able to buy a new house and obtain new credit cards to rebuild my credit rating. Thanks
